Randy’s Dive Shop is committed to making our website usable and accessible to all individuals, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet or exceed the standards set by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to continually improve the user experience for everyone.
Measures to support accessibility

To achieve our commitment, we have taken the following steps:

  • We conduct regular reviews of our website’s accessibility and usability.

  • We use an accessibility‐aware design template and test for keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and color contrast.

  • We ensure images have alternative (alt) text where appropriate.

  • We ensure that form fields are properly labeled.

  • We aim to provide captions or transcripts for videos, whenever possible.

  • We ensure that visual elements (text, buttons, links) meet adequate contrast ratios.

  • We strive to use clear, simple language where feasible for ease of understanding.
     

Known limitations and areas for improvement
Despite our best efforts, there may still be areas where the site does not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We are continuously working to identify and correct these. Some areas under review include:

  • Full captioning or transcripts for any multimedia content if not yet in place.

  • Ensuring every image has meaningful descriptive alt text.

  • Periodic audits for accessibility compatibility across different browsers and assistive technologies.

  • Ensuring all dynamic content is fully keyboard‐navigable and focusable.

Compatibility with browsers and assistive technologies
This site is designed to be used with the current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari), and with commonly used screen readers and magnifiers. We test compatibility regularly, but because technologies and standards evolve, some features may not work as expected on older or less common devices or software.
